It will be no surprise to anyone to learn that the Roman Blind first came into being over 2000 years ago in the heart of the Roman Empire. In all that time, however, it has barely changed. So, we're bringing it into the 21st Century!

Usually considered a traditional blind, Roman Blinds aren’t often associated with technological innovations but to keep them from falling away into ancient history, we offer a range of products that allow you to automate their operation.

Centred on a specially designed motor, our range of Roman Blind Motorisation range provides every required for your customer to control their blind in comfort. The motor is concealed inside the same headrail that is used for chain operated blinds and can be powered by either a mains adapter or a Li-ion battery.

The optional accessories in the range include an optional solar panel that can be discreetly connected to the Li-ion battery to keep it from ever requiring a recharge, and a collection of wall switches, timers and handheld remotes. The variety in interchangeable components means you’ll be able to impress your customer with a bespoke motorisation solution to fit their needs.

To really take the next step into the digital age (and hopefully future-proof you for a few years!), we're currently working on releasing a smartphone app that could operate the motorised blinds and I've even heard whispers here of developing full smart home integration that will provide full voice control via assistants like Alexa and Siri. But that's a long way away and it's top secret!
