The easiest way to provide child-safe blinds is to use an inherently child-safe blind system – for example Motorised Roller Blinds or Wand Operated Vertical Blinds. If you’re not using an inherently child-safe blind system, we’ll make sure that the chains and/or cords on your blinds are made in compliance with all safety regulations. Read on – this is important stuff!

Made-to-measure blinds standard child safety measures

All your blinds will be supplied with the child safety measures stated below unless you confirm that the blinds are ‘intended to be installed in premises where children are not likely to have access.

1. Chain-operated blinds with fixed tension devices – we use the Clear ‘P’ Clip safety device as standard on Roller, Roman and Vertical Blinds.

2. Chain-operated blinds with breakaway devices – our Clear Breakaway Chain Connector is available on request for Roller and Roman Blinds.
