Double roller blinds. Day & night blinds. Privacy roller. Zebra. These blinds come with many names but achieve the effect, using the same unique fabrics. Having become synonymous with this blind type, providing the widest range of fabrics available for many years, we at Decorquip like to refer to them as double roller blinds. And we’re sticking to it!

As for that range of fabrics, our Double Roller Fabric Collection has led the way for the past three years or so, offering more than 90 options across 11 fabrics. But all good things must come to end. The collection has been discontinued but the good news is that we have launched our brand new Double Roller Fabric Collection and it’s bigger and better than ever.

Exclusive to Decorquip, the new collection offers more than 120 options across 17 fabrics – including the brand new Sandstorm. You’ll find a wide range of aesthetics and functionality.

Colours

With a majority of the fabrics consisting of neutral and natural colours, there’s plenty to look over with clients who are looking to dress windows in a modern space. Creams, neutrals and browns work fantastically with natural materials like stone and wood, whilst the whites, blacks, greys and silvers fit right in with modern, minimalist designs.

Brighter colours are also available for the more adventurous, many of which can be found in the Sahara fabric. Typical primary colours are available as well more ‘out there’ options like leaf green or turquoise.

Textures

Even when blinds are out of reach, fabric textures can be vitally important. In the new collection, there’s an array of textures which, when matched with the right colours will elevate the finish of a window. Natural textures can be found in the linen-based fabrics, as well more patterned textures for those looking to make a statement. This new collection also contains more metallic fabrics than ever – many of which can be found in the Victoria range, with its beautiful metallic finish attributed to Lurex® being incorporated into its composition.

Functionality

There’s growing consumer demand for window blinds that earn their keep! No longer satisfied with blinds that look good, users are looking for functionality in the way of temperature control, smart home integration, fire retardancy, etc.

Several of the fabrics, including the ever-popular Tucson, are fire retardant so you can provide clients with the assurance that their shading is as safe as possible. Monte is another FR fabric and also has the added benefit of being ‘blockout’.

Our blockout fabrics are so called because the panels consist of blackout fabrics but, of course, the very nature of double roller fabrics mean that they’ll not completely eliminate all light transfer in or out. However, in the closed position, the fabrics can be relied on to provide complete privacy.

Sandstorm

A brand new fabric, new to Decorquip, is Sandstorm – a double roller fabric with a difference. Available in three options (dependent on window drop), this new fabric provides users with several configurations so they can manage their light and privacy with more control than ever. Check out our Sandstorm page for more information.
