When measuring for roller blinds with joining brackets, you’ll be required to provide measurements for each blind that is going to be fitted into your window. It’s very important to submit the width first, then the drop.

Step 1. Check if your blind is going to fit inside or outside the recess

If your window is in a recess, then you have an option of fitting inside the recess, or you can fit just outside of the recess so the blind overlaps the window.
This helps to keep out more light and provides more insulation.

Step 2. Measuring your window

Tip: Measure your window with a metal tape measure and in millimeters or inches.

If you want your blinds to fit into a recess

Measure the width first and add 7mm, then the drop. Repeat the same process for another blind or blinds.

Example:

Width: 1000mm + 7mm = 1007mm

Drop: 1500mm

If you want your blinds to fit outside the recess

Allow 75mm overlap on the width and then add 7mm, next measure the drop. Repeat the same process for another blind.

Example:

Width: 1000mm + 75mm + 7mm = 1082mm

Drop: 1700mm
