Which fascia size suits your installation?

Both the 90mm and 120mm variants of the Capital Fascia can be recess or face-fixed as required – the freedom you have in positioning your fascia means it can accommodate any blind type and even more than one simultaneously.

To determine the variant to choose, the total clearance of the blind and its fixing when in a fully open position should be considered. This will be subject to how the blind is fixed, window size and blind type.
For illustration, we are using a simple range of average roller blinds. The roll widths provided are based on a thick roller fabric such as Quad 1% at a drop of 3000mm.

Which Capital Fascia is the best for me, 90 or 120mm?2022-09-01T13:37:36+01:00

Both variants can be installed as a recess or face-fixed coverings so the only difference between them really is their height. This flexibility in positioning means they accommodate any blind type and even more than one at a time.

To determine which variant to choose, the total clearance of the blind and all its fixings when in a fully open position should be considered. This will be subject to how the blind is fixed, window size and blind type.

Can I face-fix the capital fascia side profile?2022-09-01T12:39:44+01:00

It’s possible to fit the capital fascia side profile outside the recess (not for reversed roller blinds), however, because it was predominantly designed to be fitted inside the recess to close the gap between the edge of the fabric and the wall and block light leakage, the face-fixed profile is not as effective at fulfilling this purpose. Therefore, we don’t recommend using the capital fascia side profiles with any face-fixed blinds.
