Decorquip has supplied the window furnishing trade since 1999, when we started from a small workshop in Caerphilly, South Wales. We are independent, and the Ford family who started the business still own and run it today. We supply blinds, tracks, workroom products and motorisation to trade professionals across the premium window furnishings market, including blind retailers, soft furnishers and interior designers. We sell to the trade only.
Over 25 years
of supplying the trade
1999Founded
Kevin Ford founded Decorquip with the aim of building a business his family could one day join, initially supplying vertical blind components to manufacturers.
2000sMade-to-measure
Responding to customer demand, we expanded beyond components and developed a wide range of made-to-measure blinds, establishing Decorquip in the higher-end market.
2011A new home
We moved to our new 1,800m² premises in Bedwas, giving us room to grow our made-to-measure and component ranges and kick-start our motorisation programme.
2016Capital Collection
We launched the Capital Collection, bringing together a distinctive range of premium fabrics developed specifically for the window furnishing trade.
2024FR Streets acquisition
We acquired FR Streets, adding an extensive range of workroom products and further broadening our offer and expertise across the trade.
