This year, we’ve all had to struggle with what seems to be a war on all fronts. Even with the hope of getting COVID under wraps on the horizon, industry suppliers around the global have been hit hard by increasing costs of raw materials. Here is an explanation from our General Manager, Richard Ford, on how this affecting us and our customers:

Aside from the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, you are likely aware of the other big issue that our industry has faced this year. Difficulty, for our suppliers and ourselves, in sourcing and shipping raw materials has been exacerbated by escalating prices.

Despite our best efforts to absorb the impact of these pressures, the situation has not proven to be as temporary as some had hoped and we have been forced to revaluate our position. Regrettably, we have come to the conclusion that we need to pass some the increased costs down the supply chain.

As a result, from 1 July 2021, we will be implementing a 5% price rise across the board for all Decorquip products – wholesale and made-to-measure.

We are committed to maintaining the quality of product and service our customers know and love and we continue to monitor the evolving situation closely so we can maintain an open channel of communication.

Our first effort in protecting customers from the impact of the price rise is to offer a 2.5% discount on full price products ordered online. This way we can pass the savings in administrative costs back to you. We’ll have more for you on this at the end of the month.

This increase will automatically apply to all full priced products including made-to-measure blinds, curtains and accessories on Thursday 1st July 2021. Similarly, a 2.5% discount will apply to all products ordered online by accounts that do not have an existing pre-arranged discount. Carriage etc. remains unaffected.
