When it comes to popularity, Roller Blinds are the undisputed champion amongst blind types which can be associated with many factors: aesthetics, most advanced motorization options, ease of use and installation, and the vastness of fabrics to choose from, etc. For me, it’s their versatility as there aren’t many scenarios Roller Blinds wouldn’t accommodate, if you utilise the right brackets they can provide solutions for most complex window configurations in any space.

In this blog, I’m going to run through our roller blind bracket options and the scenarios they’re used for. Read on, you’ll be surprised what the good old Roller Blinds can be capable of.

1. Standard Roller Blind

It’s a single, most popular Roller Blind that can be chain controlled or motorised. Fits inside or outside the recess. Extension brackets allow extra space which enables for long drops even with the thickest of fabrics. Standard Roller Blinds are ideal for small and big windows, up to 3500mm (45 or 55mm tube).

2. Joined Roller Blinds

Joined Roller Blinds are an ideal option for huge windows too big for just one roller blind. Can be chain operated or motorised, and fit inside and outside the recess which makes them perfect for both residential and office spaces. Can be made in different widths to match the configuration of muntins in the window. Chain Joined Roller Blinds come in different control configurations where one chain can control both blinds simultaneously or with two chains to control each of the blinds individually.

3. Dual Roller Blind System

The advantage of the Dual Roller Blind System is that you can design your window shading to be multi-functional. For example, during the day a blind with a screen fabric with a solar reflecting coating will protect you from heat and sun glare without obstructing the view outside, while at night a blackout blind will provide privacy. Roller Blinds offer a multitude of properties and using double brackets can help you mix and match them to suit your or your client’s needs and increase your net profit per window.

The Dual System Rollers can be either chain controlled or motorised and fit inside as well as outside the window recess.

The system gives an option of providing multi-functional shading solutions that can be accommodated into huge windows in both commercial and residential spaces. As mentioned above, the Dual system allows for mixing and matching properties and styles of your roller blinds and gives an extra ‘room’ for creativity.

The Dual Joined Rollers can be either chain controlled or motorised and fit inside as well as outside the window recess, also allowing to choose from different chain control configurations for ease of use.

5. Roller Blind with Back Bar

Roller Blinds with Back Bar make the fitting of your rollers easy and allow for fitting into the uneven recess. The back bar utilises a top clip bracket to fit inside a recess or shallow face-fix brackets for outside recess installations. Additionally, Roller Blinds with Back Bar are compatible with a Suspended Ceiling Clip which makes the system an especially useful option for offices and commercial spaces.

The Back Bar option works well with chained controls but is also compatible with motorised Roller Blinds.

6. Anti-Ligature Roller Blinds

Blinds that utilise anti-ligature brackets provide a highly effective means of greatly reducing the number of ligature anchor points in any given space, therefore, reducing the risk of self-harm. These load-release Roller Blinds have become a go-to system to use in psychiatric institutions and prisons throughout the UK. Their simple property to snap apart when an abnormal load is applied makes them a much cheaper option than their magnetic counterpart yet as effective. The brackets are aimed at customers looking for a safe, professional, and cost-effective solution to the inherent risk of personal self-harm within their establishments.
